Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Veda aligns progress notes, transcripts, and supporting documents using semantic AI. We collect only the information required to authenticate you, store your projects, and deliver alignment, chat, and analysis features. Veda is operated by Robot ITL Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, and authentication tokens handled through Supabase Auth.
• Project artefacts: uploaded files, citation maps, chat history, alignment metadata, and analysis outputs stored in Supabase Postgres/Storage.
• Usage diagnostics: anonymized feature usage, error logs, and performance metrics to keep the application healthy.

3. How We Use Data

• Align and compare documents, generate embeddings, and run review approaches you request.
• Provide chat answers and highlight references inside the DualPane experience.
• Improve performance, security, and reliability of our alignment pipeline and Supabase infrastructure.
• Respond to support requests and notify you about updates directly related to your projects.

4. Sharing & Subprocessors

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data only with subprocessors necessary to run Veda: Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Vercel (hosting), and optional LLM providers you explicitly configure (e.g., OpenAI). Documents are never sent to third-party models unless you enable an external provider in Settings.

5. Retention & Deletion

Projects, files, and chat logs remain in your workspace until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual files, projects, or request full account deletion via support@veda.ai. Backups are purged on a scheduled basis and cannot be restored once removed.

6. Security

• All traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and TLS 1.2+.
• Supabase encrypts data at rest using AES-256 and manages access through Row Level Security policies.
• Internal tooling is protected by strict least-privilege access and audit logging.
• Optional client-side encryption of files is available using your preferred workflow before upload.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the data we store on your behalf. Contact support@veda.ai to exercise these rights.

8. Updates

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email before they take effect. Continued use of Veda constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
